Gently and quickly removes excess oil, surface debris and make-up. Rinses without a residue, leaving skin refreshed, comfortably clean, and ready to receive maximum benefits from the products to follow. It can be use on face, eyes and lips and does not sting the eyes. It rinses clean, without leaving any pore-clogging residue. The cleansing agent is a liquid non-ionic surfactant made from vegetable derived fatty acids and glucose, very respectful of the skin, the environment and 100% biodegradable. It is moderately wetting and its cleansing action is mild not to remove essential skin lipids. It is skin compatible and respects the skin’s natural barrier.
Conventional cleansers and soaps often have a pH over 6, too alkaline for the skin. They produce a strong pH incrementation of the natural acid mantle on the surface of the skin that can last for many hours. During this interval of time the enzymatic activity is perturbed, undesired bacteria can proliferate and perturb the micro-flore balance causing impure skin. When cleansers with high pH are used over a prolonged period of time, epidermis renewal will slow down, the skin can become impure and the complexion will lose all of its radiance. -
